Day 222 Red Bean Chili


Red Bean Chili

4 Cups Water
1 Rutabaga, peeled and cut into chunks
2 Bell Peppers, seeded and cut into chunks
1 Onion, diced
1 Tomato, diced
2 Celery Stalks, cut into chunks
1 Carrot, diced
1 Bunch Green Onions, diced
4 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
1 Branch Fresh Sage
2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tablespoon Seaweed
4 Cups Cooked Kidney Beans

1.  Bring water to a boil.  Add the vegetables and spices. Cook 20 minutes or until the veggies are tender.

2.  Add the beans.  Continue cooking until the beans are heated through.  Add more water if necessary.

Goes well with a green salad.
