Buffalo Wings
14 Ounce Package Tofu, do not use Silken or Extra Firm
1 Cup Water
3 Tablespoons Nutritional Yeast
2 Tablespoons Onion Powder
4 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
2 Teaspoons Poultry Seasoning
2 Teaspoons Sea Salt
2 1/2 Cups Vital Wheat Gluten
1/2 Cup Earth Balance, melted
1 Teaspoon Hot Sauce, more if you like it really spicy
1. Put the tofu, water, yeast, seasonings, and salt in a food processor and process until creamy and smooth. Add the wheat gluten and continue to process until a ball forms in the center. Put the mixture on a clean surface and roll it into four logs. slice each long into 12 slices.
2. Preheat the oven to 375 F and ling 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
3. Mix the Earth Balance and hot sauce.
4. Dip the wings in the sauce and place on the baking sheets. Cook for 45 minutes until puffed and brown.
Serve with a ranch style dressing.
